I'm 1 year late for this video.. but since everyone was sharing their BTS stroy, I would like to share my story of how I became an ARMY. It's gonna be long so please bare😅 It all started in 2019 when they released "boy with luv" with Halsey. At that time I was really into halsey music. I used to listen to her "without me" on repeat. A friend of mine told me that halsey has collaborated with someone. She (my friend) didn't mention that she collaborated with a group. I literally thought she collaborated with one artist from the US.😂 My friend also sent me the "boy with luv" track on WhatsApp. That's how I started listening to BTS's first even song in 2019. When I heard it, I definitely noticed the language in the song BUT... I have never watched the MV because I didn't know that "music video" kind of things exist😂 yeah I was dumb back then. Anyway, so I never really watched the mv until 2020. I was suffering from depression because I lost many precious people due to covid. One of them was my grandma. So I was very depressed. I didn't go out of my home for more than 5 months. I even lost soo much weight at that time. One day, one of my school seniors texted me and recommended me to check-out BTS and she also mentioned that BTS lyrics helped her soo much during her hard times. So I gave it a try. The first mv I watched was dynamite and I LOVED it. I even wrote down the lyrics just to memorize it😂 and then youtube algorithm kept recommending other BTS stuffs like them singing "Home" at the jimmy Fallon show, ON etc. I was like "wow, what language is this, this is soo good and catchy". I've never ever liked rap personally. But BTS's rap got me repeat the raplines part. Then I started watching "Run bts","in the soop" and "BTS bon voyage" edits by ARMYs. I had mis conception about those run bts edit videos because I didn't know that shows like run BTS existed, I was a baby army, I was just discovering them. So I used to think that the cameras followed all the members every single day, every single time. I thought that "ohh god, being an Idol is sooo hard, the members don't have their personal life at all, the cameras follow them everywhere? That's crazy"😂 but I figured out that later... So yeah.. today is almost the end of June, 2024. I'm still the same hardcore ARMY and I'm proud of it💜 If you read it till here... Thank you for reading omg💜

well I don't think kpop will suffer due to amount of competition but it will definitely suffer as a result of monopolies of the big players which has moved from the domestic stage to international stage. The issue with that is the same players tend to have a signature that is literally present in all there groups that in the long run will make kpop boring primely due to lack of variety. Also international audience is more and more like domestic kpop fans who only look at big company groups because small companies cannot funnel money into marketing at both local and international level like big companies . The fact that US has decided to up the visa fees for by a huge amount small its a market that is no longer in a mood to give space to new groups. Kpop has look at others markets now I would not even suggest trainees to not get into big companies now given the companies love for AI, wasting years of training when even the audience is ignoring the kpop artists autonomy and feeding their voices to make ai covers of western artists going into this industry is not worth it. AI cuts costs improves profit margins and saves money on training its a win for kpop companies. to the language and words issue the fact is western fans feel entitled and expect the rest of the world be up to date to their version of awareness while completing ignoring the the other world cultures, practicality, language. Any bilingual around the word would know how context is lost in translation from one language to another. hopefully people will educate themselves and get over their stereotyped notions of people from different continents

Weird the zero cal thing WASN'T as much of an option before. Calories in a drink are such a waste of your daily allowance and can quickly and quietly lead people to go over a healthy calorie daily allowance and cause obesity in a populace. We drink zero calorie drinks and the regular now tastes SO thick and heavy from the syrup and I feel bad for my teeth and body for all that corn syrup and sugar being pumped into it. It is no longer refreshing being so thick!

People here in the US beg for a living. The women put pillows under their shirts to get sympathy for being "pregnant". There was a famous one in a bigger city about 40 minutes from where I live and shes knwon to then walk to her car and leave afterwards, and her car is a MERCEDES!!! So shes making GOOD money doing this! It sucks because these people create apathy among the general population and makes the homeless situation worse, with people not caring about REAL homeless or even harming them and not trying to figure out the issues to why there are homeless etc.

There weren't many school shootings in the US in the 1980s. It started to become epidemic in the 90s. Heath High School in Paducah Kentucky is the one I remember best, because my aunt was a teacher at Paducah Tilghman. School shootings weren't common before then, so it was even more shocking.

Anna’s statement of David having to serve his country in the case of war made me realize one thing… Since Kpop groups are formed of people from different countries, it could possibly happen that (for example) Chinese members would be called back to their country to attack South Korea… I know this is fvcked up scenario and it would have to be in really bad situation for those countries to call back all men, but still… imagine technically going against your friend/groupmate just because your country says so. I guess they could choose not to come back to their country, but that would most likely mean being banned to come back there later on… Anyway… regarding McDonald’s in Korea I can recommend the one, which is located close to the Apgujeong Rodeo station, it is really quiet there, big open space with fancy tables (it is actually more like big working desk you would get in a nice office 😅) and in general it was really comfortable to eat there! Regarding Korean McDonald’s exclusive meals, they are truly nice but Bulgogi Burger is really hard to eat, because the meat slips out faster than you bite the burger 😅😅

For anybody seeking a specific dog breed, please do your research first about the breed’s temperament and make sure that it fits your lifestyle. My ex-bf had a Doberman when we were dating, and they are great dogs, but socialization is REALLY important for this breed; otherwise, there could be aggression toward strangers and other dogs. And they get bored easily and can be destructive, so regular exercise and mental enrichment is needed on a daily basis. They are velcro dogs and thus susceptible to separation anxiety versus other breeds (which could lead to barking and destructive behavior), so you really need to work on making sure that they are okay being left alone for several hours.

I am a black woman and when my friend introduced me to BTS music, I asked 'are they saying the N word??' She said they were not, and it actually got me into studying the Korean language. So of course I dont take offense when i hear that word being spoken. That being said, I would hope ppl could consider that others(like the mixed Korean person put in the comments) could have definitely been in a situation where some dumb a$$ kids could have used it in a way to undercover insult someone and get under their skin and bully them. I mean, are we surprised? Kids are mean and will find ways to taunt someone. We were not there- that person was and told us their experience. Dont discount what they say just because we didn't experience it. I have to end this by saying I love these lives!!❤❤

David, if you have fed, walked & cared for the dog for YEARS, the mom is the dog's mom. "Ownership" shouldn't be based on a piece of paper but the time & attention you've devoted to the dog.

So regarding Anna and David, although i do understand where they're coming from because some people are taking the words out of context and using it to rage bait/clout. It is true that some korean people use that word to be racist on the low-key but I'm pretty sure it's mainly stupid middle or high schoolers on the internet. The younger korean genz but I'm pretty sure it's just a small amount.

I'm really curious, why is every Koreans going to Seoul? like is it a must for these young Koreans to be in Seoul to be successful in their life... defining successful life can be different to people and i always thought they will be some people even if its the minority who would rather just live a basic life in another city in Korea like Busan, Jeju, Pohang, Daegu or others and just work a simple job there with simple pay and live a humble life... not everyone has to go to Seoul right to be have a successful life?

Cavalier King Charles are wonderful dogs, I’ve had 2 , they are gorgeous, affectionate, easy to train, unfortunately their health problems are immense. Mine died young, one at 6 and the other at 8 years old. They were the reason why I now go for rescues. I’ve had one who lived a very healthy life till 17.5 yo. I have 2 one is 9 the other is 16.
